Current Opportunities
Registered Nurse
Arizona RN license, psychiatric nursing experience and familiarity with 12-Step programs preferred, however RN's from other specialties with a familiarity with behavioral health and chemical dependency issues will be considered.
Recreation Therapist
Requirements include a Masters degree and certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). Minimum of 2 years professional experience in providing therapeutic activities preferably with similar mental health populations who present with trauma, depression, eating disorders and personality disorders. Knowledge of 12-Step recovery programs and previous low ropes facilitation experience is also required.
Drivers
Interested individuals must have a current valid Arizona driver's or chauffeur's license and must have good driving record and be eligible for automobile insurance coverage by Cottonwood's insurance company. CPR and first aid certificate are also required. We are seeking individuals who have past experience as professional driver (i.e., chauffeur, bus driver, cab driver. etc.) and a basic knowledge of the main streets and thoroughfares servicing our facility and surrounding area. The ability to set and maintain limits and boundaries in a healthy manner with adults is also required.
Executive Assistant to President/CEO and Administrator
Five years of secretarial experience, a high-level of attention to detail and computerized office experience is required as is the ability to take and transcribe minutes from Board of Directors meetings and other committees as required. Excellent communications skills, knowledge of organizational dynamics and the ability to act proactively to problem solve are also required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred in that this position supervises other clerical personnel.
Family Program Counselor
Must possess a Master's degree and be state licensed with 3-5 years treatment facility experience working with patients, families and significant others in providing family therapy treatment services. 12 Step experience/knowledge required.
